Created the logo and various Twitch screens for the channel Coaches Don't Play.

A whistle was chosen as the logo because of the channel's concept: Three friends share games they've seen or played through with each other. The person who is already familiar with the game will "coach" the other two through the game, offering insights from their first play through and occasionally helping anyone through tougher parts of the game.

Coaches Don't Play specifically requested the logo and branding not be "too girly" because of the stereotype of how women gamers are supposed to present themselves has hyper-feminine.

However, they still wanted their branding to be eye-catching and appealing. We focused on using teal as the primary color and adding accents of purple to match Twitch's signiture color. To make sure the whistle popped from the background, a gradient of fushia was applied sparlingly.

Twitch channels usually have a variety of different screens content creators switch between:

"Just Chatting" screens are used when a content creator is beginning their stream and is taking time to talk about their day or to their chat.

"Offline" screens are for when the content creator isn't currently active.

"Stream is About to Start" screens are for when the content creator is about to go live but isn't ready to start speaking or appear on camera yet.

"We'll Be Right Back" screens are for when the content creator is taking a break, but still wants their audience to stick around.

All assets and screens were created with Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.
